Hollow Work is a ceramics studio in the Northeast quadrant of the District of Columbia.

Kate Hardy is a ceramicist living and working in the H Street corridor of Northeast DC. In addition to being a professor at The Corcoran School of Art and Design at George Washington University, she owns and operates Hollow Work Ceramics, a pottery business specializing in unique table and drink ware. Hollow Work forms have clean lines and are made with expert technique and a handmade aesthetic. They are whimsical yet refined.
Kate’s work is used at many local restaurants and cafes, including Maketto, DC Spoken English , Masseria, A Rakes Progress, Souk and Minibar. Hollow Work is sold at galleries, stores, and museum gift shops across the US.
